I was given this stove as a young girl from my grandmother. It is in perfect condition except missing one burner cover. I have always displayed it because I love antiques.
I would love to know what year this was made and if it really is an antique.

      Hi and welcome to CW.

      http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Crescent-Cast-Iron-Miniature-Pot-Belly-Stove-Salesman-Sample-/252781871133

I'm unsure about dating this stove, so some more research is necessary. Time to turn to Google and look up salesman's sample etc. etc. You could also send a message to the above vendor and ask them if they have any information about the age.

Let me know what you discover!

I see these once and a while. I'd think toy, not sample.

I have one of these somewhere around here. I used to anyway. It's a salesmen sample, I think or a child's toy. I'm pretty sure it was used as a sample. haha I just saw the comment Gillian left. so yes, a sample. I'll be finding mine soon! They hold a great value but you can't put a price on the sentimental value!
