Hey guys, just trying to figure out how old this bad boy is. Got it curbside, thought it was such a cool old piece. I think it's leather covered with metal binding, and an eagle lock from terryville. Any tips would be great!

I say early 1900's, and I believe it's vulcanized fiber not leather. very nice curbside find.

I agree with Greendog, Great iron banding, you hardly ever see that on this style of trunk.Nice find

A true "steamer trunk" from the early 1900's. I agree, probably had the vulcanized fiber covering. A more unusual style with the metal banding as the others have pointed out. Great find... glad it was saved from the landfill!
