Hi we have here a black glass ginger beer from
Bell & Black Morpeth date 1890,s
a rare bottle with George & Dragon trade mark
dug in the 1970's from the river Wansbeck Morpeth
North East British Isles
ginger beer non alcoholic beverage
Thanks for love well appreciated as always Kevin
Black glass, that's interesting for a general use bottle. Black glass is hard work to make (and I guess costs more).
Hi Karen i didn't know that !!!!
for the love many thanks swampdogg BB2 PhilD CaperKid SpiritBear Karen bijou Kyratango Jlmam EZa lisa !!!!!!!!
Nice bottle!
I'd love to see a pic with the sun shining through it, as I'm wanting a better understanding of the color black in reference to glass.
Just if you have time one day.
Love it either way!
Hi Karenoke & thanks for the love & extra piccy of bottle with light shining through
which i would say a dark brown all depends on the reflective quality of the glass when finished
most ornamental black glass is in fact deep purple
Thank you davy for the like
For the love thanks SEAN
