Hello CW!
This summer in the holidays we went to the beach house.
I took these pictures to an old wooden ice box stored in the shed.
I think its a very interesting and beautiful vintage piece to decorate.
I dont know anything about the brand or the year when it was manufactured.
Mc Kee Refrigerator Co.
Brooklyn, NY. USA
Measures,
Height 93 cm, Width 52 cm, Profundity 38 cm
I would like me to know something about it.
Many thanks!
With love,
Virginia
Thanks so much for your love SpiritBear!
Hi Virgina so nice to see you and how lucky you can go to the beach :-) Your Ice box is in beautiful condition I love it .
I am not familiar with the company but they are listed in the history of ice boxes and refrigerators in 1926. I can tell you this is an apartment size unit which is a bit more uncommon but not worth a fortune.

Hi Virginia! OMG, it's so nice to see you!!! It's been a while but you just stopped by one of my posts so I came here to say hello! McKee Company made many things for the kitchen, I did not know they made this but it makes sense. I used to have an old Wedgewood stove, it was gorgeous...black and white and had a backsplash with a spot for salt and pepper shakers on one side and the opposite side was flour and sugar. These shakers were made by McKee. I actually had 2 sets. One set was all black with white writing and the other was white with black writing. They also made these that are Jadeite. Many different shapes but these have always held a lot of value, especially if in fine condition. The black are the hardest to find, I think. Great to see you!
