This is a Loetz Tango bowl with three scroll handles. The glass has a real opalescent lavender base that is set off in a strange way by a flashed iridescence. Its form is in the Loetz book somewhere- the early part of the 1920's; some pieces in this same shape decorations of the type that Eduard Prochaska (pro-has-ka) produced for Loetz. The handles have a magnificent luster you see, I believe the maker applied golden iridescent handles to the tango bowl- then applied a second (cold-process) iridescence was applied to the whole piece after cooling.
What an adorable piece glass quite beautiful !!!!!!!!
