vaselineal…
(88 items)
I do not know a lot about this era of glass. I believe that this is a Loetz Tango vase based on similar examples that I have found online. I have not seen an specimens in the exact shape but many comparable pieces.
The orange body stands 7 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" opening and 6" max diameter.
There is a polished pontil mark on the base but I can not locate an acid etch signature.
Any additional info would be appreciated.
I totally need that shape ! It's a rarer three handle piece, it would have been signed in a scroll acid stamp czecho-Slovakia mid 1920's or early 30's. To my knowledge it was Kralik that produced this shape - they both made three handled pieces. A few shapes were exclusive to Loetz, a few shapes were exclusive to Kralik and a few shapes were shared (with minute differences). This shape I'm thinking is only Kralik... it's never enamel decorated also
