Leather Covered 1870's Toy Trunk

This an awesome, 1870's, original, leather covered toy trunk. Hardwood slats, full size brass buttons, full size lock, and handles. Maybe a salesman sample trunk? Probably not, but still a nice piece. The interior is complete with covering and tray. The lid has a small fall-in compartment that has a mirror on the face. I have never seen this before. Excellent original condition, and something I have never seen. Its size is also unusual at 15" long. Pretty much all trunk makers sizes were in even 2" increments, but there are always exceptions. In any case it is a trunk that I really love.
