When is enough too much? Never!
This vase is:
Big at 28cm
Colourful with a mix of pink, purple, white, very dark green
Iridescent all over
Has a frilly lip
Has clear casing which has been worked into a line and bow pattern
It may not be to your taste, but I think they got away with it.

The bow pattern is a bit of a Japanese staple Malkey. It is very heavy, quite typical too for this era of Japanese glass (around 2kgs). Many thanks!

Yeah, used it more than anyone else. It occasionally shows up with other brands but Iwatsu featured it quite a lot.
