    The (Lampshades?) were found buried in the floor of my home in Cincinnati. They appear to be hammered brass with mica. They are about 10 lbs each. I do not see any markings except for the art work shown in the pictures.
    Any help identifying them would be appreciated.

      Agreed, ver nice. For sure part of lamps or lighting. I would start with a little house history. Who lived there before, and so forth.

      You didn't mention size so I may be way off here but I am wondering if they were not used on a pair of double armed wall sconces. The knight's helmet and banner shown on the side was often used on sconces in the US. you might want to start your search there. Good luck.
