There is a stamped number on the base of he badge which I understand means 18 of 84 limited edition . Here's a history from the Automobile Association of eastern India website The Automobile Association of Eastern India was established on 28th August, 1904 which was formerly known as Automobile Association of Bengal. It is a matter of pride that this Association is one of the most ancient Automobile Association in the world being even senior to the Automobile Association of Great Britain. The first motor vehicle Act of this Country was mainly framed by this Association in the year 1913. On 30.5.1959 in keeping with the historical and geographical changes the name of the Association with its proud heritage over that time had also to be changed from Automobile Association of Bengal to Automobile Association of Eastern India and once again registered as Company under the provisions of the Company Act. 1956. By then the Head Quarter of the Association had already moved from Chowringhee to 13, Ballygunge Circular Road (Now Promothesh Barua Sarani), Kolkata-700019 and settle in its own premises. Automobile Association of Eastern India has completed its 100 years existence on 27th August, 2004 when Sri Budhadeb Bhattacharjee, Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal inaugurated the Opening Ceremony Celebration, Sri Subhas Chakraborty, Hon'ble Minister of Transport & Sports, Sri Subrata Mukherjee, Hon'ble Mayor of Kolkata were also present at Birla Sabhaghar. The closing ceremony was held at Science City Auditorium on 27th August, 2005 when Mr. Somnath Chatterjee, Hon'ble Speaker along with other eminent personalities were present.
