Mom recently passed at 100 years old. A long and healthy life. I am trying to get some info on some of her chairs and a table. I will post the other two following this. Any info on age or even value?
    Thank you, more to follow.

I had a chair just near the same--It finally fell apart , but I keep the pieces about 30 years!! My mom always called it her "Stenciled Hitchcock Chair"In 1818, Lambert Hitchcock founded an innovative chair company in the northwestern hills of Connecticut, where he produced his beautiful hand stenciled chairs' That is what you have--and a beauty!!It may have had to be re-vaned several times. Mine had a rush seat. No one was EVER allowed to sit in it.

      Thanks PostCard
It's a lovely chair, love the stencil. My grandfather caned chairs so maybe he replaced the seat. Maybe you should put yours back together?
