I found this nice Joseph Rindskopf online few week ago, when this piece arrived, I realize some gold paint was applied to the Brass mount, fun little project to do last night,,,,, now, look fabulous.
When I first see this piece, even without have decided to go for it, I am thinking “Oil Lamp”, I have to say my instinct not being disappointed, this exactly look like an Oil lamp, another fun project to fix.
Beautiful dark ground with oil spot throughout and the brass mount is just gorgeous after cleaning it.
The last set of pictures show what's the piece look like before and the third set what's it look like now after love and care, so much more details on the brass mount.
Now my priority is the find what missing to do the full restore, this will be a nice project to be follow up.
This piece stand with the mount at 9 inch, the glass piece stand at 5 inch tall by 5.50 inch wide.
Many Thanks Everyone for Viewing.
Alan

Love this!!!

very pretty
This is a beauty, Alan! I always like Rindskopf's oil spot decor, and this is a lovely example, especially in the mount. I would never have imagined this to be an oil lamp - good for you on the ID! :)
THANK YOU, vintagelamp, i am more than happy that you love it.
THANK YOU, jean, for the kind comment, very much appreciated.
THANK YOU,skivatinitz, totally agree, wait for it.....;-)
THANK YOU, Michelle, i knew you will love this one, i have to admit with pictures online was very difficult to figure what this could be missing, but with my recent acquisition of Frizt Heckert oil lamp, i was able to compare, it's like a detective work i guess, when i start to clean the paint, and have a closer look on the rim wear, i concluded this is and oil lamp, i just have to find what is missing, i realize this will not be an easy task, but as you know I love challenge.
Many thanks to all of you for stopping by and for the love too, much appreciated your support, i real blessing for me.
Regards
Alan
