Every year at the OERM antique truck show there are always a few extra special vehicles. Something that won't be seen at the usual car show. This is one of the stand outs from this year's show.
It is a 1951 Metro van made by International Harvester. It is one of those 100% restorations down to filling the van with vintage tools.
Kudos to the owner for this restoration. It is easy to find more information on this as "vintage snap on tools metro van" brings up many detailed results.
Different to the current Snap On trucks, much better I think.
When the Snap On truck pulled up at the hangar, you would think it was an ice cream truck by the crowd around it.
Thank you very much racer4four. I agree with you.
Thank you very much bb2. It's ice cream for adults. A beer truck may draw a crowd too.
Thank you very much Thomas. I'll pick some up if the truck ever comes up here.
