Just bought this one...
My EYE spotted it and told me to get it ;-D
Pics are from the listing, I have no mesurements, and I don't know if it is silver over gold or all silver with gilding...
It was in a lot with two modern mop, marcasites and 925 silver dragonflies :-)
UPDATE: 2 FIRTS PICS ONCE CLEANED!
Mesurements: 3.2cm wide, 2.5cm high.

Awwww, lovely Victorian brooch. Looking from the photos you have a wealth of different stones, shappire, peridot, pearls, rubies, amethyst and maybe diamonds. Looking forward to seeing it in its full glory.

Oh this is going to be another stunning brooch once you give it your expert treatment! How do you clean these pieces, I have a few gilt over silver that need a good cleaning.

Mani, yes, I always think of you when I get a Bzz Bzz or a flutterby ;-)))
Katherine, I use a kind of Windex spray, an extreme cleaner with an ammonia smell.
It is gentle enough for pearls and remove this kind of red oxydation on mixed gold/silver pieces which remained in closed boxes for years. Grease and grime don't resist!
No need to let pieces soaked, one spray back and front then gentle paint brush wipe before rinse under the tap, et voilà :-D

The backing is unmarked gold either 9 or 14k, eyes are rubies (strong fluorescence under UV!), tiny rosecut diamonds, aquamarine, garnets, sapphires and either peridots or chrysoberyls :-)

Hi Judy! I don't know if it is actually initials... usually numbers were scratched like that when a jeweler did a repair!
