A Goodwill find ! This tabletop wine opener stand is painted with a "Grapes " design , most appropriate for it's use . The wooden base has been painted and sealed and signed by artist on the reverse (base) , has a painted iron attachment arm for the antigued bronze Estate opener . The iron attachment has the same 'Grapes" design , as well as the Estate opener with the embossed "Grapes" motif with it's working lever arm. Very nice looking on the kitchen counter and fun for entertaining !!
I almost bought one of these myself a few weeks back. Simply because of how cool it is and the price was right. But then I thought, when is the last time you drank wine?
So I left it, but it's good to see someone else finds it as interesting as I.
