Whatsitman
(1 item)
I am trying to learn what this set of nippers(?) was used for. The jaw with the adjustable angle and length gauge is flat while the other jaw is triangular shaped. I believe they were probably used to nip or cut metal but would like more specific info. on how they were used and if they had a specific purpose
My husband thinks they are for cutting circles. Possibly a leather tool, have you tried it on that. Only other thing he could think of was tin snips.
Unusual for sure hope someone has some info, Somehow I think one of or members will know (likely Tube Amp) but Welcome to CW Whatsitman
Looks like you have an old "Saw Set" as pictured in the link below.

Great find lzenglish, I think you solved this one! :^)
Izenglish - Thanks for the information - I agree that my item is a saw set - While it is not identical to the one you found the patent for it is certainly very similar and has many of the same components - I appreciate your help in identifying my "whatsit"
Your Welcome! Here is another link that shows your saw set about midway down the page, on the right.
