    I am trying to learn what this set of nippers(?) was used for. The jaw with the adjustable angle and length gauge is flat while the other jaw is triangular shaped. I believe they were probably used to nip or cut metal but would like more specific info. on how they were used and if they had a specific purpose

      My husband thinks they are for cutting circles. Possibly a leather tool, have you tried it on that. Only other thing he could think of was tin snips.

      Izenglish - Thanks for the information - I agree that my item is a saw set - While it is not identical to the one you found the patent for it is certainly very similar and has many of the same components - I appreciate your help in identifying my "whatsit"
