So yeah, if you turn these plates sideways, you might get a Georgia O'Keefe vibe, if you know what I mean. I'll just stick with peach pit and fish.

I can't figure out the signature on these plates. Anybody want to give it a shot? Thanks for looking.

First name is definitely Lisa; last name begins with "Ka", and there's a "y" in there somewhere too... 95 is probably the year they were made. Can't say I've seen anything like this before... Also, the signatures are quite different for having been supposedly made by one person in the same year, but that could be a personal bias of myself.
(as for the Georgia O'Keeffe effect... Oh yes. And I'm fairly sure it happened on purpose XD)

Thanks for the love, roddyq, kyratango, ho2cultcha, SEAN68, and Quantumphysica. :)

Q, glad we agree on the effect, and I agree it is deliberate. Yes, I thought first name was Lisa, but the last name is a muddle, and I also agree that the two signatures look so different from the same artist. The mystery lives on ...

Sisters? Brother and sister? I think the first one says either Jean or Leon. Def the 2nd says Lisa! I suppose could be husband and wife too.

Oh I hadn't thought of that, the style of the platters looked so much alike, I assumed the sigs were the same person but in two different styles of writing. Frustrating not to be able to read the names as I would love to know who made them, and the meaning of the decor.

Bill, it's sort of hard to miss, isn't it? Very kicky! Or kinky, depending on your way of seeing things. :P Thanks for the tip on the vid, I'll have to take a look. :)
