I was delighted to find this during my travels through the flea market. Had cheap plastic fruit in it, so nobody gave it a second glance. I saw the silver marks. Dutch sword mark for 1906-1953. The other mark is "A 2 F" and I haven't a clue what that means. The glass has a few very tiny nibbles here and there. Overall, the condition is excellent.
Thanks for looking!
Bonnie
I don't know what that mark is either but I just saw it on something I have too. Of course, I set it aside and I have so much going on, I couldn't begin to tell you what I did with it! Hey, I can say this now and you'll know exactly what i mean...my whole desk is covered! (I'm doing an open air market this weekend) same as a swap meet or flea market, depending what they are called in different areas! Covered!!! lol
@shareurpassion > I have jewelry here next to my pc...and I have jewelry in a dresser behind me....AND I have jewelry in the next room....on the counters....in drawers.....upstairs in my bedroom.....I hear ya loud and clear, LOL!!
Yeah, glass here there everywhere here....
This is a lovely bowl Bonnie. Great pattern in the glass, and a silver handle too!
GREAT GLASS !!!
Love the handle too !!!
That is a beauty Bonnie, the look is closer to the 1906 time period. Another nice find! :^)
What a lovely piece! So bright diamond cut on the glass, it may be lead crystal...
