Flea market find last week. From the ended auction I looked at, I did well on it. But, unlike in their example, mine does not have F & Sons marked on it. Would one be newer than another, perhaps? The marks are otherwise identical, so I cannot think it was a different manufacturer.

A nice, gentle, flow blue from England.

Thank you, Brunswick. I got it at the flea on Saturday. I've known about the flea for years, but was never able to go. Now that I no longer volunteer or work on Sat., I could go.

Thank you for commenting, Malkey. I mainly like the star and trees on it. LOL.

Mrstyndall, thank you. The seller wanted, I think, 12. But I got it for 7. :D

Is the brownish mainly on the trees in the design or is that a optical glare/reflection? I (obliviously) know nothing about such items so I'm guessing "flow" blue is a bit like water color paint? it that it bleeds a bit? love the deep blue anyhow.

Political Pinbacks, I don't see any brown in the pics?
Yep, it bleeds. They display nicely.

They do at that, I guess it's more tan I see it mainly on the lower left of the large tree but it is likely reflection.
    7. SpiritBear, 7 years ago
I did take it outside, albeit not near brown.
    8. SpiritBear, 7 years ago
Unless you count the tan grass. LOL.

Another nice Flow Blue plate SpiritBear! :^D
I think it is picking up reflection, maybe of the grass, on both trees, and lower left side, both are made to look a little reddish brown. I dismiss it because I know Flow Blue, but to PP with not so good eyesight and not familiar with the Flow Blue, it looks like a color! :^) PP, my eyes are getting there fast too, without enough light I can hardly see anything, without having magnification! B^)

      This is beautiful, no doubt.
Very pretty with the center star optical.

      Thank you, Bill.
I can only see blue and black in it. :/
Karenoke, thank you. I agree. I have two plates with that 'star optical', though one has a snowflake in its centre!

Hum I do tend to reach for my Optivisor before my glasses LOL and thought it different to see another color on a blue plate but looking at my last exam report it reads 20/20 or is that 20/200 ;p jk

Well, I have a postcard that would confuse you. When it was being made, a huge error occurred. Every part of the building that was supposed to be red, was shifted about an inch away on a normal size postcard. I'm not sure why anyone ever purchased it, as it looks terrible. LOL.
