I know absolutely nothing about this. I am trying to figure out if it is a fake or not and if it is a fake is there anyone who can tell me about its origin.

    Thanks in advance

Four strings which were mainly used in Jazz/Blues. I would venture 1920's.
It is a keeper if it be a GIBSON.

Thanks Guys appreciate the info and the reason I put this up is because of 2 things First is the emblem, I can't find it anywhere on a Banjo or Guitar up on the end like it is and Second I can't find a serial number anywhere.

The way that Gibson plate is all funky, looks like it's made to deceive! Just my thought. :^)
