Hello everyone.
So pleased to tell you that all the unpacking has been done, sorted and all in place......finally!!
Now I can concentrate on posting some bits and pieces to show you.
This is part of a collection of my gold rings, bought over several years. I love them all and they tend to be my "go to" pieces to wear out. Unfortunately, I tried them all on yesterday and to my disgust found that my joint on the ring finger is swollen and I can't get most of the rings over it now!! Perhaps it is just that I have gripped and ripped and lifted so many boxes etc that has caused it?? and hopefully it will go back to normal soon:-)
Yes, I have been lazy posting a group shot like this.....ask away if you would like more info on any of them.
Hope you enjoy, thanks Judy
Happy to see you! Your rings are beautiful. I hope your swelling goes away so you can wear them again.
I'm trying to find one like the openwork braided one lying on it's side. I outgrew my other thumb ring....trouble is, I need about a size 19 1/2. Bought a lot of jewelry yesterday at a great flea market but didn't find one like that...maybe next weekend!
Thanks Bonnie, it's good to be getting back to normal!
That ring is one of my favorite ones and I have a similar one in silver as well but I haven't tried the silver rings on yet.....
yes, there is always next weekend to look forward to treasures. :-)
Judy,
Sure been a long time since you've posted. These are quite lovely. I do hope that you'll be able to eventually wear them again.
Thanks Scott, it sure has and I am so glad to be ready to be posting again! I tried to keep up with everyone and their posts when I could so I didn't have to play catch up with them, that is too hard!
Now I can start hunting for treasures again too YAY!!
Hi Tassie, I must have around 7-8 rings which I thought was a lot, your collection here is big and beautiful !~ I have been thinking lately of a ring I lost when I went out, I miss it terribly, and never found one like it to buy !!
Thank you Ken, I must admit it did get a bit overwhelming at times with a couple of melt down moments lol, but was really worth it now that it's over:-)
Great to see you back Judy, and with goodies! So much to look at, thank you!
Oh thanks so much Phil, I really appreciate your lovely comment.
Touch wood I haven't lost any rings, you must be devastated and special ones are so hard to replace!
Thanks bijou, it is great to be back and talking to lovely friends:-)
Glad you love my goodies!
Awesome collection!
Thanks very much Caperkid, glad you think so and really appreciated!
Many thanks for the love Fortapache, Hel1, Bonnie, Mike, Scott, Ken, Phil, Bijou, JImam, Mrs Tyndall, Thomas, Karenoke, Radegunder, Aura, Caperkid and Vetraio, always very much appreciated!
Wow Judy! What a nice grouping!
You were efficient in the unpacking and settlement, kudos :-))
I'm sure your fingers will return to normal size now you don't have to use them intensively... ;-))
Hi Pascale, thank you for your comment and the love:-)
We were pretty happy to be so settled in such a short time and I hope you are right about my fingers lol!
Peejay is much happier now that all the boxes have gone too!
Wow, what a lovely collection of rings Judy.
Hi Jean, thank you!:-)
Appreciate the love Pascale, Jean and Vintagelamp, thank you!
Judy I am glad the turmoil of moving is settling down now!
I actually really enjoy looking at posts like this. It's a delight to move your eyes from one to another and back again.
I'm really loving the Edwardian (I think) rings.
Hi Karen, how are you? Thanks there are some nice ones....the little one with the pink stone surrounded by pearls is Edwardian I think and perhaps the one with pearls and turquoise is as well.
We are really loving it here on the north west coast......so much better than Hobart!
I'm going very well thanks Judy :)
Yes, those are the two rings I meant, and I'm glad you understood which ones I meant by Edwardian. I really wasn't sure.
Where have you moved to? Arthur River region? It's all lovely on that side of Tassie, but I hope you like a stiff breeze lol!
Nice collection. I have to tell you, the very best way to remove a ring stuck on ones finger is you saliva. I know, sounds gross but it's the only way that works 999% of the time. The only other way to get one off that's stuck, is cut it off. It will help you get one on too but why go there ;)
We have moved to Somerset, between Wynyard and Burnie Karen, and we have Bass Strait spread out in front of us!!! We love it so much, even though we have had a lot of rain and very chilly wind, we have had some stunning days as well. Will be interesting to see what summer is like here!
Thanks Share.....I believe you about the saliva lol! My fingers usually swell in summer and shrink in winter.....so I have summer only rings and winter only rings.
And YAY my ring finger is getting back to normal!!!
Appreciate the love Karen, Melanie and Share, thanks to all!
Thanks very much Ebeetle for taking the time to look and love, always appreciated!
Very impressive collection! Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks so much Buckethead,I really appreciate your comment and the love:-)
Officialfuel, thanks for the love, very much appreciated :-)
Great collection Mrs T... each and every one different from the rest. Now, get back to posting! LOL
Lol, thanks Rick for the comment and the love, always appreciated! Will be trying to get back into a routine for posting soon:-))
Oh my, Judy! I haven't been around long enough to know you had been moving and not posting but as soon as I saw the pic of your 9 ct ring collection, I was ready to come over and play 'dress up'. I have a secret love for garnets/rubies..or basically any 'red bling' (rhinestones, etc) so my eye was immediately caught by the one in the first 'row', in the 2nd spot from the right (there is another ring above it in the same 'row'. I think I spied at least 3 other rings with red..lol. A beautiful collection!!
Hello Karen, thanks so much for your enthusiastic comment and the love!
I love all these rings, must admit I can't pass up one that is a bit different to the others and of course has the right price tag too:-)
Thank goodness my ring finger has settled down now, I had a favourite one on today. I don't have a favourite colour....but I would like to have at least one of every colour in my collection :-) )
Thanks again, really appreciate your interest!
Love them all but favourite it top left. Blue Aquamarine? Glad your finger is better and post a piccy of your new view if you get the chance. Sounds lovely.
Hi Wandless, thank you, and for the love as well:-)
My mum found this ring a long time ago on the beach I think! It was missing the stone so I had a blue topaz put in it.
The last ring on the left hand edge is really pale blue so is possibly aquamarine.
Next time we have a sunny day will see if I can get a decent picture:-)
Appreciate the love Vintagelamp, thank you :-)
Hello Kjane79, really appreciate you taking the time to look and love. Thank you :-)

Lol ORoy, as a matter of fact sometimes I go out without a ring simply because I can't decide which to wear.....pretty bad isn't it :-)

First to Oroyoroyisthatyourhorse, a girl can NEVER have enough diamonds OR just jewelry...come on now, I know you've heard that before...I suppose you are just figuring out it's true! haha
Tassie, I see I have commented here before but when I see things I love, I have to come back in. I could definitely pick a few of these I would love to have! There's some real beauties right there. Did you use your spit??? haha If you did, you know it works! My fingers and all of ours i imagine do the same thing. Mine do it no matter what the season is ;)
