Here's is another strange one from Kralik 1920's - 30's. For years I have seen this pattern with a white base and mohogany decor that is "cracked"
-like dried mud. The pattern exposes the white base through the cracks.
In recent history there have been similar pieces with a mohogany layer and dark blue in between the cracks. This one is one stuff different it has an internal white with orange-rust mottling and the internal cracks filled by bright blue powders.
This vase has a cool retailer sticker: Maritza (store) parada 925 (street or cable car stop). I'm told it was a well known bazaar or gift store in Buenos Aires that closed in the 1990's.
You have posted two stunners today. This is marvelous.
Thank you, race.
