I just found this at my new favorite junk store. A brass kerosene lamp with an interesting burner and a wide wick. I haven't seen this type of wick before. Can anyone date it for me or have more info? Many thanks!
(lamp approx. 10-" tall)
Kosmos Burner.
The Gallery is cracked, if You need wicks, I go to Miles Stair, He has or will make most wicks, There are multiple Burner sizes for wicks.

I got the Burner size information from Macdog1 off of the Bay, I bought some Oil Lantern items from Him and He helped Me with the Kosmos Burners. If You want, Measure Your Burner and I will see if I have a Gallery to fit it, I bought a box of these a couple years ago thinking I was getting a deal, but all the inside gearing of the burners were all corroded beyond repair, but I still have Them and most of the Galleries are good. If I have one that fit's You can have it, I'll mail it out Saturday. If You don't know, The Gallery actually unscrews counter clockwise from the Burner Body. Also, They are not all the same threading, You will have to take the Gallery off and measure the Diameter of the threads so I can see if I have the correct one to fit. Tim.
Thank you Tim. I recently moved and just saw your wonder info today!thanks!
Sure Thing, And My Thanks goes to Miles Stair and Macdog1 for helping Me, for without Them I wouldn't be able to Help others. Tim.
