A book I bought at the flea market today. But, goodness, how racist the seller was!
It had a neat clipping from a news paper in it, too.
Pics of various flooded out views, buildings, destruction, dead animals, train wrecks, bridges, sink hole, etc.
Great Book Dam the seller.
The Keen Kutter Distribution Center wasn't built until 1905, so this obviously didn't affect it in any way. It is now a hotel with a Keen Kutter museum inside. I'm glad it didn't get hit, and I bet many others were as well to enjoy the beautifully renovated establishment.
(I forgot to mention in my last post that there was a store in Kansas City as well.)
boysfarm, he literally said to kill all of a particular group of people.
Oroyoroyisthatyourhorse, thank you.
McCoyNelson, have you stayed there?
I refused to sell to a anti-semite at a show , he was extremely Rude! The people around started to clap. He ended up apologizing to everyone. Somehow people's fear of Others has to be neutralized.
Nice find with some great photo's, One would think WE would be past racism by now yet we have leaders stoking the fire and many feel it's once again okay to say such things, IT'S NOT, I guess it's time to fight it once again.
Boysfarm, I came upon him and I'm assuming another vendor or customer discussing a certain people group, and both were on the same page with each other.
Political Pinbacks, it won't go away till after He comes again. It can lessen quite a bit, but always it will have a presence till all righteousness is restored.
when i look at your collections, i think that we must be kindred spirits! the way finding things leads you on a hunt for information and fountains of knowledge about the past. very similar to my own collecting habits.
