Do you remember the jadeite necklace I re threaded without a clasp?
https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/187373-jadeite-and-faceted-crystal-rondelles-ne?in=collection-2184
Waiting for the right piece to complete it, keeping a versatile way to mind...
I bought 1 year after a beautiful antique pendant element, open back old cut crystal stones, silver and gold, lacking a dangle.
Recently I grasped a jadeite pendant, ring and pendant carved from one piece of jadeite.
I brought back from Thailand 35 years ago chunky 24k gold S and W shape clasps.
Here is the result of the combined parts :-)
The W shaped clasp allows to wear a pendant while acting as a clasp for a beads necklace, so... very versatile !
That is a fabulous result! What a talent.....
So creative and what a stunning necklace . You are very very talented xo
Wow, I love the result. The colour of the Jadiate necklace and pendant is beautiful. Talented lady.
I agree with all above comments!
I assume you realize this but just in case....the 24k clasp will eventually give out and break after enough opening and closings. I've had to replace all of mine, and in a couple of instances I'm lucky to still have it to replace....lol. Couple very close calls!
This is very beautiful....and creative!
Love it!
Bonnie... patience, and time for playing with my spare parts ;-)) Thank you for finding talent here!
Mani! Same! You're too kind :-) XO
Jean, thank you very much for your appreciation!
The beads are really vivid green, even if not greatly translucent. The pendant has more white in it, but an oldie :-)
Thanks too for your loves, Scott, Hel1 and Wpj!
Thank you very much for showing this being worn. Always love jewellery photos on a person:)
Ha, Karenoke, I crossed your comment while answering the above :-)
Thank you for pointing out the weakness of the gold closure.
24k gold is very soft, the chunkiness of this one is a security, but I always use these clasps in a "just enough" opening position on one side, the other is nearly closed: no repeated opening and shutting! I'd only have to open it more if I need to change the pendant, not very often.
Caperkid! Thanks for your kind comment and appreciating my modeling of the necklace ;-)))
Very nice!!
Wow Pascale, what a beautiful combination! I especially love the crystal pendant. You sure have an eye for style:))
Wow! I'm impressed!
Fantastic find and kyralisation idea's ! Beautiful necklace.
Thank you Mrstyndall for your very nice comment :-)
Valentino, thanks! I had to wait a long time to get parts which could be combined in convenient style :-)
Judy! So kind of you to say so, Thank you!
I wonder how beautiful was the pendant in its original state, and what was the dangle.
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Ahanninger!
Marga, I bet you have a lot of spare pieces waiting for a marriage! It is a real entertainment to go through my stash and try combinations... And such a joy when the result is appreciated by you, jewellery lovers :-D

Phil, thanks! I'll wear it as it is for now, but may change the pendant for another if I need!
