Some of the hats say, "ASK ME-ROOST HERE" SOME WEAR RIBBONS ON SHIRTS SAYING " RECEPTION"(excuse caps as many know, my vision is suffering and I want to get those important thinsg right--I had help deciphering of course)
There are high button shoes on the little girl on the first stair going up, on the left--so 19 10-1914--a divided bck postcard--unsent.
Why do some of these people have Chicken? Pigeon? feathers on their hats?What is being passed out or sold in and out of the white box on the table?
What is the littlegfirl, lower left holding?
Is that some kind of fruit of veggie pictures on "all the same" scarves on everyone neck?
Looks like they intend to sell the hats that say"Ask Me--Roost Here" on them

I think they are selling those hats that have fake bird merde on top & says, "ask me if pelicans roost here". Those get popular with tourists, off & on.
I do see that fiish set up on the table MacDaddrRico---I don't think this photo can ever be explained. I try to put together some reasonable plan they had to show the intent of the group===but
"no can do". Still, what is in that box, and spilling onto the table--might be a clue. You can enlarge the photo 2 times and maybe the contents of the box will be clear. Imagine going to the expense of making all the hats--some on the table for sale, all rhe matching scarves, the ribbons saying "Reception" etc. Speaking for myself--I believe I would not WANT to be "received" by this group. How about you??
The box looks like it has party horn/noise makers, that roll out when you blow them, can't think of the name of them...Party Whistle? :^)
Hi Bill! I think you nailed it! Congrats on the I.D.!! Great--now what does the picture tell us???That has got us all stumped.It is so unrelated cohesively--everything is so random. The big woman with her hands over her ears I am pretty sure is a MAN!

I believe it's a woman, and it's probably a fund raiser of some kind, maybe political! I think we're going out on a limb to say there's a cross-dresser there too! LOL :^)
