This interesting enamelware pitcher is bright red over its whole outside, with a white interior and black handle with rolled edges. Measures about 8" tall overall and 7" across the handle/spout. There are no markings whatsoever on it, though unfortunately it does have a few (mostly) small dings around its upper edge.
This was a 'surprise' item picked off Mom and Dad's sale racks, in that I don't have the slightest recollection of ever seeing it anywhere before. Thus I also don't have any earthly idea when or where Mom actually got it, nor how old it might really be.
(frankly, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite like it *anywhere* before -- whether in Mom's kitchen, or anyplace else for that matter...??)
Can anybody shed any further light on this delightful 'little red mystery' for me??? Thanks for looking and all suggestions welcomed! :-) :-)
I've never seen one of these that I can remember, beautiful shape/relationship between the opening and the handle, and the color is great! I wish that I could tell you something about it. Thanks for posting!
