I recently picked this up at a flea market for 2 dollars. It's only marking is Japan on the bottom under wind-up area. There is no name on the doll its self.
I thought it was different so I bought it. If any one knows the dolls name please let me know.

These little dolls vinyl with ponytails from Japan were dime store dolls . They have no real name other than ponytail doll that I have ever known . Most did not have wind up movement they were meant to be played with and easy to carry around . Popular in 1950's
