Hello to all the hobnail collectors! I have perused your posted collections and drooled over them all. I hit an estate sale yesterday and decided to dive in. I got my first three pieces! After some back and forth with the dealer, I spent 49 dollars. I have been looking around to see if I overpaid, but prices seem to be all over the place.
I am also gaining on my education but could use any assistance on furthering my knowledge on what I have here, and just hobnail resources in general.
These are in mint condition, the flat one is opulesent, and there are no markings on the bottom.
    Thanks everyone!

You have assembled a great beginning to your collection and while all pieces were made by the Fenton Art Glass Company they are all over the board in terms of types of glass and eras.

The little bowl is a Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail Bon Bon it was produced by Fenton from 1940 - 1957. It looks to be the 6" 3926. The little rose bowl or vase is in the beaded melon pattern and the treatment is called Peach Crest. Fenton calls it their 711 4" vase. It was made from 1949 - 1953. The larger vase is in what Fenton called Peach Blow Hobnail and it was produced between 1952 - 1955. This looks like the 5" #3850.

Wow! Wonderful information Sarah Plummer, thank you so much. I really appreciate the guidance and information. (someday I will spell opalescent correctly too!)
Is there a web site or reference book that you find particularly useful? Part of the fun of a new collection is learning! Again, you rock!

JayHow, you are so sweet, thank you. I did a run back to the thrift today trying to scoop up a Fenton satin glass (yellow) pedistal bowl. Not there, sniff. It wasn't super pretty but you have brought up that Fenton thang in me. Cheers!
