This is an original 13 Star Centennial Parade Flag.
The Flag is printed on coarse, glazed cotton and is on its original period wood staff.
These Flags were very popular in 1876 and were widely used at events celebrating our nation's 100th Birthday.
This example has held up fairly well in the last 135 years.

Happy Fourth.
vanskyock24's uniformed comments were NOT deleted by me-- this was edited by Collectors Weekly.
I wish they weren't deleted since it may give some the impression that the Flag is a reproduction. This Parade Flag has been confirmed to be an authentic 1876 Flag by a respected Flag dealer.
Love the flag! How big is it?
2 1/2" X 3 3/4" on an 8" stick.
These were waived in parades and passed out for Centennial events.
