A few of these pulled feather pieces have been found over the years, usually in green opalescent. Here is one in a reddish opalescent. All have pulled feather decoration bordered by a darker shade of glass. The shapes are pretty distinctly Bohemian or Bavarian, but a maker has still not been pegged. This example is about 8" tall and about 6" wide.

A wonderful piece of glass, Warren. The red against the opalescent white is really unusual, and very beautiful.

Warren I was thinking perhaps these were made by Schliersee?
    4. bohemianglassandmore bohemianglassandmore, 7 years ago
A good thought, Brian, but I haven't found the shape on any other Schliersee pieces, or in the published Schliersee catalog pages.

I would lean for Heckert, as there are many opalescent vases in similar shape known from him, or as second choice I would name Poschinger as he made other finely banded vases with a coloured contour. Though I looked carefully for comparable items, I didn't find any exact shape match.

I have one made by Kralik but its only the white. On mine you can feel the lines slightly... terrific pieces
