RCA Victor Company cast bronze Nipper figure, weighing in at 1.5 lbs; 3 3/4" high x 2 3/4" length (nose to tail) x 1 1/2" wide. Not entirely sure what this was for or possibly attached to, at some point the base center was filled with some sort of a plaster mix. (?) Whatever the mix is, it is extremely hard. And someone had glued on a modern day piece of green felt which I pulled off.

Would love to know what it's original intent was and the approximate date it was produced.

    Unsolved Mystery

Green felt was one of the most common colours put on the base of most metal items back in the day. It may have been original.

Thanks SpirtBear, this was brand new bright green felt like you’d pick up in a craft/fabric store; not like any of the other items I have that have the older felt.
