Bought this cute little dish because it was unusual. It was made in occupied Japan, hand painted, porcelain with little tubes that don't go all the way to the bottom. The tubes are interconnected with little openings between them. My guess it's a flower frog contraption. Someone else guessed a candle holder. Any ideas?
