I was quite nervous about getting this vase, it was being sent by someone who never packed and sent off glass before, I made her so!! nervous with my and instructions that she sent me photos of each step of the packing for my approval..as you can see it arrived safely
It is a very beautiful vase, much more in real life, and seems larger than the measurements indicate and quite a heavy one too!..Approx… 5” x 6.1/2 in diameter.
Thanks for looking.
Penny, this is a great piece, I really like the color. Did you put a light inside it, or is that from above? I don't know if it was intentional, but is the white background Styrofoam, because the texture of the surface of the glass, looks the same as the foam. Nice! :^)
Just beautiful......worth all the angst :)
Wow, this gem looks very old and as beautiful. So happy your instructions paid off as it was worth it. I remember my share of people selling items that they should never have shipped. I sometimes ask for a 2nd box on glass or even porcelain. Very beautiful piece and I am glad her packing did not disappoint, love to you !~
It's a BEAUTY!! Glad it arrived safe and sound.
Well done on your packaging instructions - I have done the exact same thing a few times myself! It is a really gorgeous vase, too...
Hmmm, could be Kralik "Colored Spots". On opalescent glass, colored spots of varying colors on lower half of vase....? Very nice, whoever made it! Maybe an expert like Welzebub will weigh in on this one?
nutsabotas6..thank you so much, me too..I just love it!...:-)
billretirecoll...I actually have it on my stove with the estractor fan light on, and yes! it’s on poly-what’s it!...and coincidental, I take most of my photos on here and with those backgrounds, I never even noticed till you pointed it out to me..:-)
Yes! it was sklo42..thanks for stopping..:-)
Yeah Penny, I have my laptop hooked up to my 55" HD TV, so I can see everything! A lot of times I can see marks on Jewelry, or Pottery, that I couldn't see with a loop, it really works great for me! :^)
Thank you so much for dropping in and commenting my friend..:-)
Thank you Scott..:-)
IronLace..if you saw the box it came in you would not help but burst out laughing, it was huuuge!....:-)
Could be Heckert green Marmopal ? Lovely piece.
Sammyz... thank you for your thoughts, I'm hoping someone will..it is extremely beautiful and shouts quality..:-)

Hello MaryGregoryGuy.... so sorry I haven’t replied to your comment but I haven’t been receiving mail form CW for a long time now and never know when someone comments on one of my posts..very frustrating.. ‘I believe’ this is by FH as there is photo of this exact vase on the Josephinenhutte and FH shelf in the Passau..thanks for stopping and giving me your thoughts..
Inky - thanks for comment you posted on my P-K exhibit, and glad you established maker of this piece. I'm partial to FH Marmopal and have one in purple 'solifleur' style which I should post one of these days.
