Beautiful pastel yellow Chambers stove. My husband went to an antique auction and things were going SO cheap!! And now I'm trying to talk him into modifying the kitchen cabinets so I can keep it :o)

I tore apart my oak kitchen cabinets years ago to make room for my 40in 1930 Grand stove. Use it every day. Mine was also cheap." You haul it out of the basement, and pay me for the ad in the paper". That was $12.50. What a deal!!!! This is the second house I have altered for the love of my stove. Yours is beautiful!

There is a club somewhere online for Chambers Stove owners. They are very desirable stoves and very well made. I just got a 1957 pink Hotpoint from an estate sale and I love it.

pickedandpiled, you made quite a find there. Your Chambers looks to be in exceptional condition and the raised back with the light is rather rare and very desirable. I hope you have a chance to cook with this stove a some point. My parents inherited theirs from my Grandmother and we enjoyed many a Thanksgiving Day turkey cooked within. The Chambers stoves were known as The Range That Cooks "with the gas turned off!" due to the heavy cast iron construction.

If you are interested, you find out more at the official Chambers website at:

      Enjoy.
