This bedroom suite is by Thomas Brooks from Brooklyn, New York. It dates to the 1880's is made in the Renaissance Revival Style. The bed is 9.5 feet tall and the drop front dresser is just over 10'. We had to have a bedroom built to house it. Not shown is a matching bedside commode. All three pieces are made of solid American Black Walnut and have no nails or screws, only wood pegs. The bonnet atop both pieces are 18" thick of solid walnut. The only thing about the set is daily making up the two foot deep feather tick.
