Hello all! I finally got 4 shelving units built to display a lot of my bottle collection. 7up & Pepsi so far. My basement is on it's way to being finished.

Very nice, but where is the Mountain Dew ?
Constructive criticizism for free. I built a bottle shelf as yours out of 1"x 6" and 1"x8" boards. After I loaded it up, it sagged slightly and within a year it sagged a lot. You MAY need a center support . Maybe I should have used oak instead of pine. Anyway, just saying. But it looks really nice for your nice collection. Carry on.

SpiritBear! rockbat & oktreedude, I understand what your saying, so when I was building (I don't know the correct term) but cut out a slot in each upright for each 'shelf' to sit in for added support. sorta like a datto, so it's not just screws holding up the shelves. 3 on the back side and the 2 in the front. I would think that is good, but I will definatly keep tabs on them. Thanx!
rockbat, I do collect Mnt Dew also but I need to build another shelving unit, maybe two more even. Hopefully soon.
