I can't believe how time flies - it has been almost a year since I have posted on CW! I have been very busy with my family and young daughter; I did check in here and there, but I miss all of my great glass friends on CW! I had some time to take pictures of some of the glass I acquired over the last few months, and wanted to share it. I will also try to be present more often so I can see all of your wonderful new finds, as well!
This piece is a Rindskopf Pepita bowl, with a molded thumbprint pattern. It is easiest to see the thumbprint pattern on the bottom, but I love how it has become stretched out on the sides to give it a really textural surface; it really catches the light. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Rindskopf, and this is actually a favorite piece of mine. The bowl is about 8" (20.3cm) long, and it has Rindskopf's typical irregularly ground pontil.
tremendous like indian canoe dashing down rapids on a fiery sunset such a powerful piece
