i thought i was bidding on one of those small Kutani vases! imagine my surprise when this 16 inch beauty showed up yesterday in a huge box!
it was drilled on the side of the bottom with a small hole - to be lamped, i'm assuming.
any and all info appreciated!

to me it looks a kuani tsukuru , and it looks 3 mark kutune not a two mark kutani ( to 1890 ) so it must be late mejji before taishoi
