I have searched every possible combination of words to find these plates (there are also bowls and serving pieces) in every search engine I can find. They are either the rarest in the world, or such junk that no one posts them. I cannot find them anywhere. Any guidance as to the maker, origin, country, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I have spent many, many hours going through thousands of images. Thank you in advance.

At first glance I would say late 20th Chinese export, with a Buddhist or Taoist bird of paradise as a traditional and attractive motif, symbol of the female form or yin, as opposed to the dragon who is yang or male. The two sides of a complete element.

The mark is a later export mark version of 'The People's Republic Of China' since 1949.
