Glossy vases are so hard to photograph; did my best!
This is 60s maybe 70s production from Hokuyo Glass and shows a pretty exciting decor.
Orange inner has been covered with yellow and blue glass that has been dragged.
The result is that where the colours have mixed there are shades of green, burgundy and brown to accentuate the yellow and blue.
I think it's quite stunning.
A nice clear case over the top gives it heaps of gloss and it has a beautifully ground and polished base.
Quality and creativity!

Wow, so unusual - the orange lining makes it rather unique...almost has a ceramic look to it.
I thought it was ceramic from the Tumbprint, but Nope -- GLASS !! Way to go karen !!
oops ** Thumbprint ..... I meant
Gorgeous swirl of colors & inner orange glow, love this shiny vase
Japanese glass at this stage often looked ceramic, quite deliberately so, a development of 1000s of years of ceramics being their greatest art.
Thanks IL; yes, the orange does it!
Thanks Rose. You are quite right!
