    Early Quezal vases were numbered as well as signed Quezal.
    This is probably a carry over from when the Quezal founder Martin Bach worked at L.C.Tiffany
    glass works. This piece has a gold pulled feather decoration below a series of pulled devices.
    Long gold neck with strong iridescence.

      Not being my field, but curious. Quezal is just too close to quetzal, not to have a connection ?

      blunderbuss2...yes, Martin Bach who founded Quezal took the idea from the highly iridescent quetzal bird of South America.
