Mecredi being Wednesday en fracais je crois. Close enough.
This is my big prize from the Rose bowl although not the biggest in size. Apparently I was the winner of the Rose Bowl as several people stopped and asked me about it and the price I paid was equal to theft. My bad.
This is a rather large set as it is about 27" x 15". This is one of the largest of the tin litho buildings. The only one to rival it would be the 3 story barn. Plus it is a good looking set. In addition it allows one to recreate the excitement of a gas station. This is before they had hot dogs and fountain drinks and laundry detergent and so on.
The set is almost complete. It is missing one sign and I should replace the painted attendants and tire display.
As usual I will milk this for a few more posts as there are a lot more pieces and parts.
