Tecalemit operator badge of unknown vintage

Bought this having no clue what it was, I just liked the design. Googling tells me Tecalemit is a British Company that is over 100 years old and still operating today. They manufacture and supply lifting, testing & servicing equipment to the vehicle repair industry, as well as fuel dispensing equipment. Presumably this badge was worn by operators in a service station or workshop that was using said equipment.

No idea of date. It has the look of the 1940s or 50s to me but that is just a guess. The maker is J.R.Gaunt a renowned and prolific Lonon maker of badges and buttons. They were active throughout the 20th century so doesn't help me date it.
