I just love this piece, it's unusual for its shape, its ribbed foot and its thickly textured vibrant white/blue, yellow/green 'leaves' (as I like to think). This applied to a honey coloured base with subtle pale cream spatter and blue powder. It really is as amazing as it looks. A relatively large piece 8" tall with a diametre slightly bigger.

I keep being drawn back to this. This is closer to magic than I ever came. (I don't do glass)

Thank you so much for your comment blunderbuss, it's a special piece and I'm so glad you like it. I try to show and capture the beauty of Kralik artglass in particular. I'm not interested so much in the manufacturing process or detail; to me, the means to the end are not as important as the end in its self - so, unless there is an interesting back story, less talk more show. Pictures tell... 'nuf said.

      More talk, haha

I’m not sure about the Bambus designation because there are several things that stand out as different- we can see the differences and they are amazing differences. Pieces like this don’t need a new category (unless you find two more;). Great piece and amazing craftsmanship
