I found this old clock in a thrift shop here in Va. I t has no information as to who made it or any other information and needs some help in age and maker etc. thanks in advance VERY heavy!!

Nice find!
It is an open escapement which probably dates it to the turn of the century. If you can upload a clear photo behind the back plate of the mechanism it will probably have a makers mark.

Seth Thomas by the logo in picture four.
Victorian, late 19th ct. Black and lots of decoration was in favor at that time.
Kind of hard to see all of the detail in your photos but it looks like you may have a Seth Thomas "Marble No. 1169" from circa 1893. If that is what you have, your clock will measure 9 1/2 inches in height and 11 inches in width across the base.
