This is a one year only bicycle for the whizzer kit.. the reason is Schwinn hand the rights to use the whizzer motor kit with their bikes. Cleaveland welding company built the bike with whizzer motor kit in 48 without schwinns knowledge . Schwinn discovered this and a law suit was filed. So this was the only year for a factory whizzer for this company. The bike has been restored to original.. it is missing the red pinstripes though. It comes with a correct 4 stoke H motor for 48. a optional bi-light. 26 inch balloon tires original whizzer seat...it has a throttle control and a separate compression release. Originally it would have a lever for both but this works better and safer.. it’s slightly complicated to run but when you figure it out it’s easy... the bike runs great and gets approx 100 miles to the gallon..

N-I-C-E !! I can just imagine riding around St. Maarten on this. I once saw a guy here with an elec. motor he had mounted on a bike with a wooden trailer trailing behind with a car battery. LOL !! This is 4 stroke ? I thought they were all 2 cycle. I remember in the 50's, having to pull in the compression release when going up a hill with more than a 3% grade and pedal !! There was no gearing on the one we played with. We weren't amused for long with so little power. Still good memories.

This was a dream machine back then. Incredible to see this. It was pricy also.

That right there is a super collectible bike. Really cool and nicely restored. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like an older restoration after closer inspection. But that great because it looks good with a little petina.
