Got all the BP Matchbox pieces I could find together for a photo shoot. Did leave out the Racer Car Transporter as it is a bit large. Let's see who is here. The Routemaster Bus with a BP advert, the Dodge Wreck Truck, the Bedford Petrol Tanker (yellow cap), Leyland Petrol Tanker (cab which is not yellow), the Alvis Stalwart (BP Expedition) and wrapping it up with the BP Service Station. There is also the BP Gas Pump and Forecourt Sign set in there. The cars in the top story are just there to fill in space, it did not look quite right.
I do have a later and larger BP Service Station. If I get more BP vehicles I can do a second photo shoot.
And by special request my shopping cart from the Rose Bowl. I am thinking of getting one with steerable wheels and extra cargo space on the back for my beverages.
That looks like the wrecker I had. Around 64-65, does that make sense? Great display of BP Matchbox. Amazing capacity display in the cart too.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. I believe that model was first produced in 1965. Let me check. Yes 1965.
A full cart is a happy cart.
