I’m not sure of the origin of these 3 keys but any insight or info would be appreciated. They were part of an auction lot that I purchased which included a ton of old skeleton keys of different types. Clearly someone was collecting. Some of the keys I have been able to identify (very few) and some I can’t seem to find. This is three of the multitude I now have that I would like to know about. Thanks for your input it’s much appreciated!

The one with the large, flat flag is for a watchman's time station. As he makes his rounds he must insert a numbered key, chained to a specific location, into his clock at specific times. The number & time are stamped onto a paper tape in the clock proving that he actually walked around where he was supposed to. The other two are just old door keys.

Wow! That’s really interesting, UncleRon! Thank you so much! So is the “watchmans” key worth anything? And are there old key books I can reference myself? I’m new at this (in case you couldn’t already tell) ???? Thank you again!
